Intro

Here’s some questions to help you round out your character. Please answer the first six questions; the rest can be submitted as character contributions, if you so desire. Unless otherwise stated, please answer them from your character’s point of view. Also, I’m not looking for a specific type of answer for these questions; how your character answers a question tells me almost as much about her as the answer itself.

I know it often takes several games sessions before you really get a good understanding of your character. If you find your original answers to these questions don’t fit your character after all, you’re more than welcome to change them, as long as those changes don’t impact any other PCs. Just email me a copy of your new answers.

The Basic Six

  • What do you look like?
  • Everyone has a few mannerisms unique to them. Describe three of yours.
  • If you could accomplish one thing before Final Death, what would it be?
  • Name five things about you that would drive a college roommate nuts.
  • What do you, as a player, like best about your character?
  • What do you, as a player, like least about your characer?

Present Day

About You

  • How old are you?
  • What’s your occupation?
  • Where do you live? Do you have any regular havens? If so, how many? Where are they? Why did choose those places?
  • How do you dress?
  • How do you carry yourself?
  • If you could only save one thing from a fire, what would it be?
  • What gives your life meaning?
  • Describe your ideal home
  • Do you practice a religion? If so, what is it? Are you a devout believer or do you practice more out of habit?
  • Do you believe in an after-life? If so, describe it. If not, why not? What do you think will happen to you after Final Death?
  • Were you born in New Orleans? If not, what brought you here?
  • How would your best friend describe you? How about your worst enemy?
  • How are you, as a player, like your character? How are you different?

Who Do You Know?

  • Are you a social person? Why or why not?
  • How’s your love life? Do you have someone special?
  • If you’re single, why? Is it by choice?
  • What would be your ideal mate?
  • Who do you associate with most frequently?
  • Do you have any contacts or allies? Describe them
  • How important is your family to you?
  • Who do you considter family?
  • Are your parents still alive? How about grandparents?
  • Do you have any children? What are their ages? Where are they now?
  • Do you have any brothers and/or sisters? Where are they?
  • Do you have a mentor? If so, how did you meet him? How do you feel about him?

The Past

Growing Up

  • What was your childhood like?
  • What is your most vivid childhood memory?
  • Who was your best friend as a child? Are you still in contact with her?
  • What were your teenage years like?
  • Did you have a childhood enemy? Who was he? Is he still a factor in your existence?
  • Where you interested the supernatural or occult while growing up?
  • What was your religious upbrining? Was it important to you?

Your Embrace

  • Did you encounter any vampires before your Embrace?
  • What were the circumstances of your Embrace? How did it happen?
  • Who is your sire?
  • Do you know why your Sire chose to Embrace you? If so, why?
  • What was your Embrace like?
  • How did you feel about being Embraced then? How do you feel about it now?
  • What is your most vivid memory of your post-Embrace existence?
  • Do you fear Final Death?

  • How well do you get along with your Sire?
  • How much do you know about other vampires?
  • Were you presented to the Prince? If not, do you know why?
  • Are you an active member of your Clan?
  • How well you get along with others of your Clan?
  • How does the rest of your Clan get along with you?
  • How much do you know about Kindred outside of your Clan?
  • How do you feel about Kindred in general?
